Max Brisbane - Life Membership
On Sat 19 Jan 2013 at the closing ceremony of the 27th Country Cup Max Brisbane from Bendigo was awarded the first Cup Life Membership. Max was one of the first Directors of the Cup which started in 1987. He held this post until retirement in 2009. Congrulations Max. Presentation was made by Cup Director NSW Mr John Martin. Max received a standing ovation from the large crowd at the ceremony.

2013 Team Nominations
72 teams have nominated for the 2013 Country Cup. This is an increase of 6 teams from 2012. The extra teams have have come from Tasmania (2 U14's), SA Country (2 U18's) and NSW Country (2 U18,s). This is a great result for the Cup. It is however the limit as to what the Cup can accommodate without going to extra days and extra courts.
