REFEREES REQUIRED FOR ALL SCHOOLS
The Queensland All Schools is the biggest schools touch football event anywhere in the world with over 250 teams and nearly 3000 players entering annually. It has been a feature of the school touch calendar since 1983. Each year the event requires referees to assist with the successful running of the event and this year is no different. Referees are paid $10 each per game.

JUNIOR STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS - IPSWICH
This years Junior State Championship will be held at Limestone Park at Ipswich on the 29th and 30th August 2009. Referee wishing to nominate must be a minimum TFA Level 2 and complete the attached Referee nomination form.

2009 X-BLADES NYC Referee Information
The National Youth Championships (NYC) will be held at Port Macguarie form the 16th - 19th September. Referee information and nomination form attached. Nominations close 31 July 2009.

2009 QTA STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS
The QTA Board has decided to endorse the recommendation of the QTA Technical Panel to hold the State Championships in 2009 not March 2010.
The State Championships will be held on 30th , 31st October 1st November 2009 at a venue to be decided.
Mark your calendar as a date claimer. The State Championships will be a Level 4 and Level 3 Referee Upgade Event. Further information coming soon...

The QTA State Youth Program “JETS”, is leading the way with Youth referees throughout the State. Since the program’s inception 4 yrs ago, the standard of Youth refereeing in Queensland (Qld) has grown in leaps and bounds. The structure and ethos of the program is spreading like fire with Regions and Affiliates starting up their own version of the program all over the State. The Brisbane Metropolitan Touch Association (BMTA) established their own junior elite squad, the “Top Guns” and the Sunshine Coast Region weren’t to be outdone with the “Sunshine Coast Bombers” joining the Qld JETS at this years Junior State Cup held in Caboolture early this month to add a youthful flavor to the refereeing line-up at the biggest tournament on the QTA calendar.
