2010 Shayne Hayne makes final for The Official of the Year Leading NRL referee, Shayne Hayne was a finalist for the award of Senior Official of the 2009 Sporting year at the NSW Sports' Foundation Presentation Evening held on the evening of Thursday 18th February. Shayne had an outstanding 2009 season refereeing all three State of Origin matches, the Telstra Premiership Grand Final and was then selected for the Four Nations Tournament more -->
2010 NSWRLRA Beginner Referees Training Course For the first time in years the NSWRL Refs are doing a Sydney based referees course on the weekend of 20/21st March 2010, from 9am to 4pm both days, so people can start the season refereeing.All associations hold their own courses during the year as well, but this is for individuals who miss out at other places re timing etc

2009 New Teams announced for NSW Competition for 2010 For the first time in NSWRL history a three pool system will be used for rounds one through three pitting traditional clubs Newtown, Western Suburbs, North Sydney and Balmain against each other.

Now that the participating teams are finalised the NSWRL is in a position to finalise the draw for 2010. The completed draw for 2010 will be released early next week.
