AYAD heading to Fiji
Newly appointed Australian Youth Ambassador for Development, Craig Campbell has recently visited the FIBA Oceania offices prior to heading to Fiji for his 6 month placement on April 4th. Craig underwent specific training for his role with Basketball Fiji, receiving up to date report from Zone Development Officer Jon Hoyle who had just returned from Fiji. Craig will assist newly appointed National Basketball Development Officer Fanny Simpson in promoting and developing regular school (secondary & primary) competitions within Fiji. Having worked with various basketball associations in regional Victoria, Craig will bring enthusiasm and experience from both Country Victoria's and Basketball Australia's participation and elite development programs to his role in Fiji.
