The Pacific Island NBDO's will come together for a 2 week workshop starting in Coffs Harbour on April 6th and then in Sydney April 13th.

The first week in Coffs Harbour will see the NBDO's go through a number of theory sessions such as beginners coaching course, level 0 referees course, how to put a budget together, how to put a proposal together to gain funding just to name a few.

Leona Star of the Nauru Islands Basketball Association (NIBA) spoke recently with Secretary General Steve Smith.

FIBA Oceania Zone Development Officer Jon Hoyle is currently in Nauru conducting refereeing update and coaching courses and conducting school clinics to provide the impetus for junior competitions.
