The 2005 Interscholastic Sports League (ISL) concludes with big upsets and new faces in the girls basketball competition. In the consolation game between the Palau Mission Academy "Lady Crusaders" they won 3rd place honors as they ousted Palau High School "Blues". In the Championship game the "Lady Cardinals" of Midzenty High School won the Championship and the bragging rights of girls basketball on the island as they ousted the Lady Spiders of PHS who were the defending champions. A total of 6 teams competed this year, and another good news is that the new principal of PMA high school which is a subsidary school of the Seventh Day Adventist is a sports enthusiast who is also a believer in involving kids in organized sports programs finaly convinced the board of directors of SDA to finaly let the kids of the school particpate in these after school programs. He also coached the team to their 3rd place finish.
