Deadline for Rudimch league sign up extended
Organizers have extended the deadline for the submission of team rosters and fees for the 2009 Rudimch Government/Business basketball league to August 12.
According to Topps Sungino, teams will have until 4:30 p.m. to register their squads. League fee is pegged at $250 and teams are allowed to have 15 players only in their roster. He added that late registration will incur additional $25.
All payments are to be made payable to the Palau Basketball Federation and teams can submit their entries at the PNOC Office.
On the other hand, with the extension of the deadline, Sungino also announced that the league will formally open on August 17, 5:30 p.m. at the Palau National gym.
Games will be played from Monday to Saturday with the first game set at 6 p.m. For more information call Topps Sungino at 488 4491.
The league, which is sponsored by Rudimch Enterprises, is a tobacco, alcohol and drug free program and all violators will be banned from participating.
