Competitive swimming can be an enriching and exciting episode in the life of a young person. It can represent a life-long enrichment, providing more than just memories. In 2015 Papua New Guinea will be involved in the staging of the Pacific Games in Port Moresby, the last being in 1991 in which many of us remember as a time of uniting, preparing and utter excitement as athletes from around the region came together to compete. It is PNGSI’s vision to have a well prepared team to represent PNG in 2015.

Corporate sponsors play an important part in the development of sports in PNG. They are the backbone that keeps sport alive alongside our tireless band of volunteers.

We have an exciting year ahead and with BSP’s continued support development of our sport will progress. We look forward to a healthy, prosperous sporting partnership in 2011 and will continue to promote the image of BSP at every given opportunity through the media and in the community
