The Voices of the Athletes ran a very successful outreach program during the 2011 Pacific Games, with almost 900 athletes taking part.

Hats off to the NC2011 Organising Committee for inviting to the Games the Legends of the first South Pacific Games in Suva in 1963.

"Fair Play" is the motto for the athletes to observe as the New Caledonia Government and NC2011 Organising Committee join forces with the Pacific Games Council and Oceania RADO to deliver an unprecedented 350 doping control tests during the 2011 Pacific Games.

The second Pacific Sports Ministers Meeting was held in Noumea on 28 August, featuring 11 Sports ministers from the region as well as the French Minister for Sport, the Hon. Chantal Jouanno.

Eight sports are confirmed on the program for the 9th Pacific Mini Games to be held in Wallis & Futuna from 2-12 September 2013.

The 14th Pacific Games have come to end after two weeks of wonderful sporting moments in New Caledonia, highlighted by the Opening Ceremony attendance of the President of France and some powerhouse performances by Les Cagous.

Almost 900 athletes attending the 2011 Pacific Games cast their ballots for an athlete to represent them on the Executive Board of the Pacific Games Council. The winner was Carl Probert, a swimmer from Fiji.

Vanuatu has won the right to host the 10th Pacific Mini Games in 2017 following a close victory against Northern Mariana Islands and Nauru.
