Accommodation has been affected due to budget constraints. However, accommodation for all the other provinces are confirmed except Team Milne Bay, Team Enga and Team AROB.

A total twenty (22) competition venues have been prepared in East New Britain for the 5th PNG Games.

With only five (5) weeks before the opening ceremony, the Kokopo Sports Grounds has undergone major changes to ensure that the sports arenas are completed before the games begin.

The Technical Official's refresher course is scheduled to be held from 13th to 17th November 2012 at the Kokopo Business College.
