In the first medal match of the final day of competition New Caledonia 2 and Fiji 1 squared off for the bronze medal, both teams were eager to add another medal to their medal tally. The Fijians began the quicker of the two to take the opening game, however the New Caledonians Robert Stirrup and Fabian Dinh fought back hard to take the next two games.

After defeating the favourites PNG in the first round of the women's doubles, Samoa's team 2 took on New Caledonia in the first semi final while Fiji's team 1 went up against PNG team 2.

Day 5 saw the start of the singles competition kick off with a grueling full day of matches with most players having to play twice in the first two rounds that were played.

The final round for the men's team event saw the Cook Islands go up against Fiji and the Samoans square off with Norfolk. New Caledonia had the bye and had already secured the gold medal having beaten Samoa the previous day.

Women's Team Event Final Round & Medal Ceremony

Women's Medal Ceremony
The final round for the women's teams' event saw the Cook Islands take on Papua New Guinea who were already guaranteed gold while Samoa went up against New Caledonia in what proved to be an intense and close finish for second and third place. PNG won against the Cooks 6-0 while Samoa lost the tie 4-2 to the New Caledonians.

Tuesday morning was the start of round 2 of the men's team event with New Caledonia going up against Norfolk while Samoa took on the Cooks, and Fiji had the bye. It was a clean sweep as New Caledonia and Samoa both won out 6-0.

The Men's round one kicked off at 1pm with favourites New Caledonia taking one the Cook Islands and the always strong Fijians taking on the host nation Samoa with Norfolk Island having the bye. New Caledonia lived up to their billing as favourites taking out the Cooks 6-0 while the Fijians took out the Samoans 5-1.
