Patrick Mahon encouraging Nauru athlete to achieve personal best

Patrick Mahon is the Judo coach for Sled Dowwabobo (pictured left) from Nauru. He has previously trained many different athletes from across the Pacific, but for the London 2012 Olympic Games his official role will be to coach Dowwabobo.

Itte Disappoints in Beijing

Itte Detenamo was below his best in Beijing to finish after finishing 10th with a total of 385kg. This was made up of a snatch of 175Kg and Clean and Jerk of 210kg.

To win a medal Itte would have needed to get 448kg total.
