IOC completes orientation seminar for Rio 2016 Less than a month after Rio de Janeiro's election as the host of the 2016 Olympic Games, a delegation from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has paid the new host city a visit (30-31 October), as it continues to lay the groundwork for successful Games.
