Tell us about your playing career.
It was very inauspicious. I played in Toowoomba, where I was born, for three years between 1973 and 1975, and that included a game against the touring Great Britain side in 1974. I then moved on to captain/coach Dalby Brothers, and then had a spell as a player at Rockhampton Brothers. I also played a lot of Touch, playing for Queensland and Australia.
