ABOUT GXI JRL
Group XI Junior Rugby League (JRL) the governing body of the Dubbo and District JRL & the Lachlan District JRL . The Country Rugby League (CRL) is the parent body of the association. The two junior incorporations were created due to the immense size of the Group XI area, from West Wyalong to Nyngan, Wellington to Cobar. That is four hours north to south and four hours east to west. Within the Group one club travels for six hours in a round trip and pays $1700 for the privilege twelve times a year to transport players to games. The commitment shown from this club, parents and players is indicative of the commitment portrayed by all our clubs and their volunteers within the group. The Group caters for ages 5 to 16 years,(Girls participate in the teams with the boys until the age of 12 years)
Due to the large area that Group XI JRL covers the Group is divided into two Districts for the running of the general competitions, however the Districts join together to form the Group XI Representative Teams recognising and developing talented players from the 13s, 14's,15's and 16's age divisions.
Lachlan District JRL covers the "Southern End" of the Group XI Junior Rugby League, while Dubbo & District JRL cover the "Northern End".
Lachlan Distict has 9 Clubs these include Cabonne United, Canowindra, Condobolin, Forbes Magpies, Grenfell, Parkes Marists, Red Bend, Trundle and West Wyalong.
Dubbo & District also has 9 clubs these include St John's Dubbo, South Dubbo Raiders, Eastridge Cobras Dubbo, Dubbo PCYC, Wellington Cowboys, Narromine Jets, Cobar Roosters, Warren Bulldogs and the Nyngan Tigers.
The Groups focus is to ensure that all of the children in our group are given a fair chance to develop their skills in a safe and positive environment. The Group strictly abides by, fully supports and and promotes the Code of Conduct and Safeplay codes for all people involved.
