On Monday 30th January the entire NRL All Stars Squad made their way to the heartland of Rugby League, Blacktown – Western Sydney. All 20 players and staff met on Monday morning at Max Webber library in Blacktown to celebrate 2012 - The Year of Reading, along with 30 very excited students from the nearby Tyndale Christian School.

KURINGGAI ZONE RUGBY LEAGUE 7’S
The 8 schools involved in the Kuringgai zone rugby league 7’s competition returned in 2012 keen to improve on their debut season last year. Junior and Senior divisions are contested every Thursday afternoon at Pennant Hills HS for their summer school sport.
GYMEA BAY REPRESENT THE SHIRE WELL
The primary school Rugby League season in the Cronulla district was severely hampered by the elements in 2011. The main event of the year, the All Schools gala day was washed out three times. The schools were ready to play but the consistent rain during the winter made the fields unplayable. The schools even agreed to play a “Challenge” series this term to get some football played.
