Singleton's Ty Merrick Drayton's Wine Man of the The Reserve grade Grand Final Drayton's Wine Man of the Match award went to the hard working Singleton Number 10 Ty Merrick. In a game that took 115 minutes to decide and had many outstanding individual performances of toughness and endurance, the Man of the Match judges determined Ty to be the person who impacted on the game the most. Singleton Victorious in Reserve Grade. It took about 115 minutes of playing time to decide the winners of the 2006 Thiess Services Group 21 Reserve Grade Grand Final. In the end the Singleton Greyhounds scored in "golden point time " to be recorded as the 2006 champions. When the full time hooter sounded the teams were locked in a 12 all score line the game when into 10 minutes each way and in that period, both teams managed a converted try to lock the scores at 18 all. This then took the game into "Golden Point Time" and it took another 20 minutes before Singleton decided the game.
