Its been quite sometime since the floor at Tafuna high school's gym got a new fresh paint job. The floor was literally covered with graffiti, gum and old tape that didn't have a good image on the school. The basketball association wanted to do something about it.

Back in late 2013, ASBA President, Milton Taufa'asau, with the board members presented to Beauty Tuiasosopo, Tafuna high school Principal, 15 gallons of paint. She was very thrilled with the donation. ASBA took it another step and decided to do the labor of painting for the floor. The work began on April 16 and was completed on Saturday April 19. ASBA Vice President was on hand to oversee the final touches by the painters. "We want to make sure that the school is properly taken care of with this new paint job for athletes of Tafuna high school. The President was very adamant about getting this project done before high school graduation and also to give back to the community." said the ASBA VP.
