The TOSS Tech Independence 3x3 basketball festival challenge is set to tip off on 7^th July, 2022 at the Multi-purpose hall outdoor court, as part of its proposed monthly tip-off 3x3 basketball festival challenge, scheduled for this year 2022 to 2023.

The objective of the Tip-Off monthly 3x3 Basketball festival challenge is to provide avenue for players/teams/officials to meet, play, fun, acclimatizes and enjoy the game and their time together, and as well enhance their basketball skills and the code. It will be more on a festival oriented, where families, players and officials will come and enjoy their time, by not only playing and watching excitement of 3x3 basketball, but also enjoy various planned entertainments and also participated in some of the side activities to win prizes. It will be also an opportunity for SIBF to help scout player(s) to represent Solomon Island at the upcoming Pacific Game 2023 and other future regional 3x3 competitions. 

3x3 basketball is a fast-paced exciting game. It`s an exciting format that is on the rise internationally, especially as it’s a popular Olympic sport A fast paced, 3-a-side game, 3X3 encompasses all the fun of the traditional basketball format but with innovative changes to ensure constant movements. It was originated from the streets and now played in the Olympic game.

Solomon Island had competed for the first time on 3x3 basketball challenge at the 2017 Mini Pacific Game in Vanuatu and the Men’s team won the silver medal, and It was really a big achievement for the sports itself and country as a whole. We believe that with such development program, it will greatly assist the federation to select and prepare a strong and competitive Men and Women`s team to compete at the upcoming PG2023.

The first Tip-Off TOSS Tech 3x3 basketball challenge is set to kick off on 7^th July, 2022, and it be will also opportunity to launch the 3x3 monthly basketball festival development program.

TOSS Tech is proudly supporting and major sponsorship of the proposed Tip-Off 3x3 Basketball festival Challenges. TOSS Tech will do its awareness promotion and advertisement on its products during the launching of its 3x3 Basketball challenge on 7^th July, 2022.

We will also provide entertainments, health awareness, promotions and sideline activities during the course of the festival challenges for public/supporters to win individual prizes/awards, and also sale of food & drinks on site.

Great prizes and individual awards are up for grab, and only 10 spaces for Men & 8 for Women are available to fill. So, hurry and register your team(s). Only 4 players are allowed to register in one team @$250.00 for Mens Team and Womens Team.
