The Solomon Island basketball Federation (SIBF) is the national body of basketball of the Solomon Islands. SIBF is recognised by the government of the Solomon Islands, it is also a member of FIBA (International Basketball) and is supported by FIBA to develop and deliver activities that will enhance the basketball experience at all levels. It achieves this by delivering high-quality programs targeted at increasing participation, engaging more females, providing safe, inclusive, and accessible programs that will develop healthy, contributing members of the community.
The Solomon Islands Basketball Federation (SIBF) is supported by the Australian Government, through the Team Up program and in partnership with FIBA.
Job Overview
Solomon Islands Basketball Federation (SIBF) is seeking a passionate and competent individual for the position as Executive Officer.
The SIBF Executive Officer will provide effective leadership and manage the day-to-day business of the SIBF to fulfill the vision, mission and strategic priorities outlined by the SIBF Executive Board in the Strategic Plan.
The applicant must have strong management and organization skills, experience in financial management, report writing, use of social media and strong skills in stakeholder management, sponsorship, and marketing.
Salary
The salary range will be dependent on relevant skills and experience.
