On Saturday morning the Kiribati Basketball Federation marking the first playoffs opening ceremony to all basketball teams on Tarawa and Betio who has been qualified to the quarter finals. The federation executives and together with NBDO are dreaming about the events to be well organised and within two weeks ahead prior the event start the preparation were in place in order to display many inforamtions to all spectators, donors and especially parents. According to a program, at 9 sharp it's for the teams marching into the court and here comes the welcome remarks from the KBF president and update from NBDO for the teams results/ladders for whom will start on that day. Afterward some other formal part presented and then at 11am first match kicks off by the divison 2 men. According to a ranking there are 8 teams for open men, 8 teams for div 2 men and four teams for women. On the same day there are 4 matches allocated/been scheduled, two for div 2 one men and women. The major partner Coral Ace have time promote their services through word of mouth.

So far now the playoffs continues these days and hope the semi's will kicks off this Saturday the 7th June.
