Bailey Michel Set For 2017
The Greater Shepparton Basketball Association is excited to announce that local talent, Bailey Michel, will be back in action for the Shepparton Gators Basketball Club for Season 2017.
The Shepparton Gators will compete in the Big V Division 1 Basketball League. The Big V League is a state wide home and away competition in which Michel has played 56 games.
Michel is 18 years of age who competes in the Guard position. For the past two seasons he averages 41.8% from the three point line along with 40% from the field. Michel was a crucial part of the team in 2016 that made the Semi Final against Casey.
Currently, Bailey is competing in the Country Basketball League for the Shepparton Gators where he averages 3 three pointers a game as they sit on top of the North East Conference with only 1 loss.
Coach Leigh Bathman is enthusiastic with how the recruiting is going and is looking forward to getting on the training court in preparation for the season.
Michel will be set to hit the court in January ready for the season which commences in March 2017.
