Mark will be begin his role on July 4th 2019, overseeing the entire GSBA operation and working closely with the Junior Gators, Senior Gators, CBL teams and domestic clubs performing various management and administrative tasks for the COM.

Mark comes to us from the Mt Beauty area and has a strong passion for basketball with over 40 years of experience in a number of basketball areas including playing, technical official, a level 2 accredited coach as well as a long history of employment in the banking industry. Mark’s experience and understanding of technical officials, players and coaches’ roles will be an asset to the GSBA. Mark was recently recognised for his commitment to basketball receiving a 35 years service award from Basketball Victoria (BV).

Mark has previous assisted the GSBA in the selection process for a Junior Gators program and during this had the opportunity to meat several families, players and coaches. The GSBA will be tapping into Mark’s basketball experience performing a role on the coaches’ selection panel and will also fulfil a liaison role for the Junior Gators where he will assist and communicate with coaches and team managers to ensure the best possible outcomes are achieved for our children.
