COVIT-19 Update
Hello everyone,
I'm sure it will come as no surprise that we have been advised by Basketball Victoria & Basketball Australia that all basketball games and programs, both Regional and Domestic, are to be suspended until further notice.
Given this, the GSBA will be suspending all domestic games, Aussie Hoops Program and Junior Gators training until further notice.
We still are planning on playing the the rest of all our finals, however we need to wait until further instructions from Basketball Victoria on when this will be possible.
This is not a decision we have taken lightly, but we feel it is in the best interest of everyone considering the rapidly changing nature and circumstances of the COVID-19 situation.
As disappointing as it is for everyone, the health and safety of our players, coaches, referees and local community is our number one priority.
