2012 Domestic Winter Season Entries Now Open

The Traralgon Ametuer Basketball Association would like to announce that entiries for there upcoming winter season have now opened.

All registrations will be completed online with entries closing on the Friday 26th March at 6.00pm.

The winter season will commence on the week starting 16th April 2012, with Finals commencing on Monday 3rd September 2012. Semi Finals and Preliminary Finals will be played on the same night as played throughout the season with Grand Finals scheduled for Monday 17th September and Wednesday 19th September.

Registration fees & BVC insurance must be paid by the third round. New players after the nominated round must pay the prescribed fees before their first game.

Registration Fees: Senior $95.50 Junior $85.50

Families are eligible for a $20 discount if they meet one of the following: 1 adult plus 2 or more children palying; 2 adults plus 1 or more children playing; 3 or more children playing.
Note: Children members are those eligible to participate in TABA's junior domestic competitions. Adults are considered parents, not older siblings. The discount for players playing two (2) grades is no longer valid.

All teams that forfeit without giving TABA 24 hours notice will be required to pay a forfeit fee of $25 prior to taking the court for the team’s next game.

Players are required to play half the number of available games scheduled plus one to qualify for finals. Byes do not count as available games. Players failing to meet finals eligibility requirements must complete a Request for Special Permission to Qualify for Finals form which must be received by NO LATER THAN (2) WEEKS prior to the commencement of finals. Any forms received after this time may not be considered.

All Players must be registered online before taking the court in any game. Failure to do so will result in the player be deemed an unregistered player !! (This rule does not include fill in players)

Unregistered or ineligible players participating in a game will result in the match being deemed a forfeit. The same rule applies to fill-in players who do not pay the required fill-in fees.
