Limited Interchange Rule for 1st Grade competition
Group 2 delegates voted to introduce a limited interchange rule for the 1st Grade competition. Clubs are permitted to have 4 interchange (reserve) players and 2 of those interchange players must have played in a lower grade on the day of the game.
Clubs are restricted to using only 12 interchanges during a first grade competition game.
The amended Interchange Rules were approved at a General Committee meeting of all Group 2 clubs on 23/3/2011 and the full set of rules are contained in the document attached below.
Clubs should note rule 8 regarding blood bin substitution.
