New Appointment for AFL North Coast
The AFL North Coast would like to welcome Matthew Crawley as the new Full Time Development and Competition Operations Manager.
The dual role reflects that Matt will be the Development Manager for the region as well as undertaking the operations for the two AFL North Coast competitions ( AFL North Coast Seniors & Juniors). Matt will act as AFL North Coast Board Secretary and liaise between the clubs and board. We will hold meetings with clubs in coming weeks to outline the new governance structure.
Matt grew up in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, attending Yarra Valley Grammar before completing a Bachelor of Business (Sports management) at Deakin University. Matt spent nearly a decade as Secretary-Manager of Sawtell Golf Club and has for the last six years operated his own small business in Coffs Harbour. During part of this time he has also acted as Operations Manager for Coffs Harbour Basketball.
Matt began yesterday and with next week’s TPP Carnival, Telstra Community Camps and a NAB Challenge game in the next 10 weeks, he’s a welcome addition to the AFL North Coast team.
