Wiegold joins the Board
The AFL North Coast Board is pleased to announce that Gordon Wiegold has been appointed by the Chairman, Greg Robson to fill the vacant Director’s position on the Board.
Gordon, a resident of Laurieton provides a presence and voice for the Mid North Coast on the strategic direction of AFL in the region. Gordon’s experience as a player, administrator and parent at both junior and senior clubs on the Mid North Coast provide a great perspective for him to use as a representative of the Mid North Coast on the Board.
Focus areas that Gordon will assist in are liaising with Mid North Coast Juniors into the possibility of their alignment with the board as well as the development of a junior pathway in the Taree area.
The Board now has representatives from the Coffs Coast, Clarence Valley and Mid North Coast areas allowing for all clubs to be well considered in strategic directions of AFL in the region.
