Coaches Course coming to town
The AFL (NSW/ACT) will host the event which commences at 9am and concludes at approximately 5.30pm. There will be a number of key note presenters conducting sessions and activities, so it is sure to be a beneficial experience for all coaches.
The cost of the course is $130 and includes morning and afternoon tea, lunch and most importantly, 3 years accreditation as a Level One coach.
In line with AFL policy, accreditation is now mandatory for coaches in all affiliated leagues and programs throughout Australia.
Regional Manager, Shane McAloon believes the relevance of the course is applicable to all coaches, both young and old.
"The course targets Auskick, Youth, Junior and Senior coaches and will involve practical activities," McAloon said. "This is a very valuable and important course and all junior and senior footballers should be coached by an accreditated coach."
Registrations close soon. Interested participants are encouraged to register via accessing the AFL (NSW/ACT) website and clicking on the Coaching link to access a Registration Form. The form can then be forwarded to Nick Evans in the Sydney Office on 9360 2255.
