Initial Senior Representative Squad named

The first training run was held on Sunday with squad members to be reviewed weekly and players able to be removed and added to the list in the event of injury, lack of form and commitment. The coaching staff which consists of Rod Macpherson, Paul Sheldon, Jamie Coad and Brad Greenshields will be aiming to name a 24 man squad closer to the date of the carnival.

AFL North Coast president, Jim Woodlock, has stated it is an exciting opportunity for the league to compete at the highest level and put the league on the map.

"The North Coast has a proud history of competing in representative fixtures and we want to send our best possible side to represent the league," he said.

"This is a wonderful opportunity to compete against other NSW leagues and give our best players a taste of high quality competition. In view of the significance of this event we plan to be better prepared than is historically the case and have selected a panel of coaching staff to support our quest."
