Brennan will be the headline act for the feature weekend of the AFL's 150th year celebrations. His visit will coincide with the Victoria v Dream Team match at the MCG, hence there is a bye for all AFL clubs.
The young Swan was only in Coffs Harbour a few months ago as part of the Swans pre-season Community Camp and is looking forward to spending the weekend in the town with his partner. The AFL North Coast league is planning a gala-like atmosphere to commemorate this landmark event.
The best player from each team will be presented with a Australian Football 150 year medal in the Under 18, Reserves and Senior matches. A junior clinic will be run on the ground at 1.30pm and 2pm before the big clash between the top two sides in the competition, one where Luke will be tossing the coin.
It is a massive day and all local supporters are encouraged to turn out to support and capture the spirit of regional league football and our great game that is getting more and more popular after 150 years of existance. For more information, see the 'Events' section of the website.
