AGM Musical Chairs
The Senior AGM saw the same faces bob up with some moving into new positions within the League Executive.
Interim President for the last part of the 2008 season, Rod Macpherson, was the only nomination to the vacant presidency role and will therefore be the AFL North Coast Seniors President for 2008/09.
The Committee is as follows:
President: Rod Macpherson
Vice President: Jim Woodlock
Treasurer: Jill Woodlock
Secretary: Fi Sodeau
Ordinary Members Executive: Paul Sheldon and Rob Torelli
Public Officer: Jim Woodlock
Publicity and Website Manager: Luke Turner
This committee will be working closely with the new AFL North Coast Board, in what is a crucial period for the League.
Jamie Coad and Paul Sheldon were elected as the two Senior representatives to the Board.
The meeting also discussed the proposed structure of the 2009 draw, with clubs and the committee currently working on the idea of a 15, 17 or 18 round draw and the advantages and disadvantages of each. A Draft Draw is to be tabled at the next meeting based on the recommendations made during last night's meeting.
