First win for Riyadi in the Bank Med League
In the 2nd game of the Bank Med League, Riyadi had a difficult first half in Zahle against a new comer from the Division II Chabab –Zahle.
Riyadi trailed all first half the home team and was behind at the half 44-41.The home team was giving hard times for Riyadi experienced players and they managed to impose their game throughout the first half.
Riyadi who was playing with one foreign player Arizona Reid managed to regroup and to gain the control of the game especially through Arizona who finished the game as the best scorer with 28 points. He received a big boost from Jean Abed El Nour who finished the game with 19 points which a second consecutive good performance for the Lebanese National Team player .Ritadi outscored the home team in the 3rd quarter 31 to 6 , this big run gave Riyadi the comfortable win in the end at the score of 88-71despite the comeback made in the 4th by Chabab – Zahle.
