Round 5 of Bank MED League saw the first win for Antranik this season and the first win ever for Byblos , In Tripoli Mouathed welcomed Antranik in a game which was expected to be a very exciting one , the two teams  met each other 9 times in the past 5 years and Moutahed managed to win all nine games , Antranik who started this season with 3 losses ( 2 in a over time) had in mind to come back with a win from Tripoli , on the other side Moutahed won 3 games and lost 1 this season had a very difficult game in the previous  round in Zahle against Chabab – Zahle and secured its win on the buzzer.

Antranik started the game by imposing its rhythm and led from the first minutes and tried to increase the lead but the home team didn’t allow it and was always answering back through Reggie OKOSA & Bassel BAWJI , on the other side Malcolm BATTLES and Nick ZACHERY had a incredible night and were scoring from everywhere , Battles imposed its presence in the paint and Zachery were hitting the threes , the  first half saw a big dominance for Moutahed in rebounds ( 35 to 17 for Antranik) 15 offensive rebounds , these numbers kept the home team very close in the game despite the heroic efforts of Battles & Zachery , the score at the half was 33-39.

The 2^nd half saw the same tempo with a dominance for the guest  team after a god contribution from Nadim Souaid who finished he game with 14 points , Antranik led as much 12 points but Moutahed regrouped and managed to tie the game 74-74 and the last 2 minutes saw a tie game but Nick ZACHERY scored a very crucial 3 pointer before 30 seconds from the end which secured a very precious win for Antranik at the score of 88-84.

In the last game of Round 5 , in Amchit Byblos scored its first and historical win in the Lebanese League , The win came against Hoops who is showing a good level of Basketball in this season , the first half of the game saw the dominance of Hoops and finished the first half leadin at the score of 26-34.

The second half was a very important half for Byblos who managed minutes after minute to come in the game and secured its first precious win thought the efforts of Calvin WARNER & Tom AMMAR who finished the game with 19 points for each of them, they were helped by John CANTRELL who managed to score 14 points .

On the other side Calvin CAGE had a good game and led his team with 25 points , the game finished at the score of 75-70.
