Wins for Riyadi , Champville & Sagesse

In the Round 8 of Bank Med League Sagesse and Riyadi suffered to win their games against Chabab – Zahle and Hoops, on the other side Champville had also a battle in Tripoli against Moutahed but managed in the end to keep its record clean.

In Zahle, Chabab welcomed Sagesse, after a disappointing loss against Anibal the home team was focused on regaining the image back, Sagesse who had a big game against Riyadi in the previous round but suffered too much in this game due to the big pressure imposed by Chabab players, the game was a very close one but the big experience of Sagesse in the end prevailed with a big performance for Sabah Khoury 21 points in the game (7 3poniters) and Rony Fahed with 22 points. The game finished at the score of 81-85.

In another game Manara was the scene of a very interesting game that joined Hoops to Riyadi, Hoops was big rival to Riyadi throughout the first 3 quarters and went to the 4th quarter leading by 3 points but the big experience of Riyadi players managed to come back in the game and to score a very important win at the score of 90-79. Calvin CAGE who came back from injury had a big performance in the game and finished with 31 points for Hoops on the other side Joe Vogel is continuing his good performance in the season, he finished with 24 points.

In Tripoli Moutahed welcomed the leader of the Championship Champville ,the game was an exciting one and the two teams were eager to win the game , Champville dominated the game from the first minutes but the home team was always answering back and staying close to Champville due to the good performance of Bassel BAWJI (20 pts in the game) the heroic efforts of Fadi EL KHATIB ( 37 points , season best ) secured the prestigious win for Champville in the end of the game at the score of 88-82 , Jasmon YOUNGBLOOD had a his best performance in the season with 26 points .
