The round 5 of the Final 8 from Bank Med League turned down to be a very exciting one. In Manara, Riyadi who’s playing a good basketball for a while had continued its performance and this time against Hoops , Riyadi had a big win at the score of 81-59. Amir Saoud had a big game he led all scorers with 23 points , Calvin Cage and William Byrd from Hoops finished with 17 points each,

In other games Zahle welcomed Moutahed , the battle is continuing between these two teams , the venue was the court of the school of Freres – Zahle , the home team had always the small lead at the end of each quarter. Alpha Bangoura continued his leadership with 21 points , Rodrigue Akl had a season high with 20 points which helped his team to secure a very important win after the loss in the previous round. Austin Johnson led Moutahed with 22 points. The game finished at the score of 79-73.

In Ghazir , Sagesse welcomed Champville , the two teams meetings were full of excitement throughout the season , Sagesse had a rocket start d they led the end of the first quarter 24 – 12, the 2^nd quarter saw the dominance of Sagesse again despite the comeback made by Champville which reduced the score to 40 – 32 at the half. The 2^nd half saw the dominance of Champville especially through Jasmon Youngblood carried his team and managed the score another very important win in the end at the score of 72-67. He finished the game with 29 points.

In the last game of the round, Center Demirdjian welcomed the game between Antranik and Byblos , The me had one title “ Heroic performance of Calvin Warner”. The two teams met for the 3^rd time this season , Antranik won the previous two games but in this game Byblos had different thoughts especially with the presence of Calvin Warner who had a terrific start with 17 points in the first quarter which gave his team bigger ambitions to try to win the game, Antranik was answering in the game through Willie BANNISTER and Nadim Souaid but Calvin Warner was too strong in this night , he finished the game with a the season best performance with 43 points and 21 rebounds. Byblos imposed its game in the 2^nd half despite small comebacks from the home team but Byblos knew how to dominate the game and to secure very important moral win at the score of 91-80.
