Nominations now open for 2016 Winter Competitions

CHBA have opened up the nominations for the 2016 Winter competitions Men, Women, Primary and High school. 

  • Women's comp commences on Tuesday 19th July at 6.30pm
  • Men's comp commences on Wednesday 20th July at 6pm.
  • High School comp commences on Friday 22nd July at 4.30pm with a round robin
  • Primary School comp commences on Saturday 23rd July at 9am with a round robin.

Nominations need to be back to the CHBA office no later than Thursday 14th July for Men and Women and Friday 15th July for Primary and High School to ensure you are included in the first week of grading/round robins.


The 2016 Winter High and Primary School competition is kicking off with the hugely popular round robin games. Each team will play 3 x 20 mins games against 3 different teams. 

The seasons will run through until the following dates for the semis and finals.

  • Women - Semi's 29th Nov, Finals 6th Dec
  • Men - Semi's 30th Nov, Finals 7th Dec
  • High School - semi's and final's 25th Nov
  • Primary School - semi's and final's 26th Nov

 

BNSW Player Registration/Insurance fees:

If you paid in February, you won't be due again until Feb 2017. However, any new players or players who started mid season in previous years will be due by 31st July. Costs for registration are:

  • Miniball (11 and under in 2016)     $75
  •  Junior (12-17yo in 2016)             $85
  • Senior (18+ in 2016)                   $100

Registration fees are due either on 28th Feb or 31st July each year. Registrations are for a 12mth period and covers your Basketball NSW registration fee and insurance coverage for injuries

Game fees:

  • Women's competition
    • o    Per week - $85 per game per team
    • o    Upfront - $ 1270 per team, discount of $180, due by 2nd August
    • o    Instalments – $1360 per team, discount of $90
      • 1st instalment $340 – due Tuesday 2nd August
      • 2nd instalment $340 – due Tuesday 30th August
      • 3rd Instalment $340 – due Tuesday 11th October
      • 4th instalment $340 – due Tuesday 8th November
  • Men's competition
    • o    Per week - $85 per game per team
    • o    Upfront - $ 1180 per team, discount of $180, due by 3rd August
    • o    Instalments – $1270 per team, discount of $90
      • 1st instalment $310 – due Wednesday 3rd August
      • 2nd instalment $320 – due Wednesday 31st August
      • 3rd Instalment $320 – due Wednesday 12th October
      • 4th instalment $320 – due Wednesday 9th November
  • Primary school competition –
    • o    Upfront $140 per player – due by Saturday 6th August
    • o    Instalments
      • 1st instalment - $40 due by Saturday 6th August
      • 2nd Instalment - $50 due by Saturday 10th September
      • 3rd instalment - $50 due by Saturday 15th October
  • High school competition
    • o    Upfront $170 per player – due by Friday 5th August
    • o    Instalments
      • 1st instalment - $50 due by Friday 5th August
      • 2nd Instalment - $60 due by Friday 9th September
      • 3rd instalment - $60 due by Friday 14th October


Nominations need to be back to the CHBA office no later than Thursday 14th July for Men and Women and Friday 15th July for Primary and High School to ensure you are included in the first week of grading/round robins. Nominations received after this date can be included in the competition, but won’t be included in the round robin games.
