Visitations to our website were higher in the month of August than they have been since November 2013.

Visitor numbers have grown almost 25% over the last month.

We encourage you to use the website frequently to find out what is happening in the association and to keep track of latest developments in competitions, refereeing, coaching and our rep. program.

The website is updated almost daily - certainly several times each week with items of interest to all of the people who play basketball.

Whether you want to find out when your next game is, the final pointscore in your game, upcoming clinics and camps, the website is a good reference point.
We also have heaps of 'technical stuff' on the website like our rules and regulations, constitution and by-laws which might prove handy if you don't know how the whole thing works.

CHBA also has a facebook page, but here the news is a little sadder.

We have almost 3000 people in our registration database and more than 1000 currently registered and participating players, coaches, referees and administrators. Each of them probably has a mum and dad, brother or sister grandparents and friends - so the likely number of people connected to basketball is perhaps around the 4,000 mark.

However we have less that 600 friends on facebook and this means our attempts to tell you what is happening, get stalled in the starting blocks.

We have very little control over what the media decide to print, show or tell about basketball but we have total control over our own communication channels - the website and facebook page.
