NEW DATE FOR CHBA AGM
The CHBA BOM would like to confirm a new date for the AGM - Tuesday 21st May, 6:30pm at Sportz Central.
During the final BOM meeting prior to the AGM it was noticed that an administrative error had occurred in the previously announced positions vacant for election to the BOM. It was announced that the role of President and 1 Director would be available for election. This was incorrect.
As incorrect information had been relayed to our members and in accordance with the CHBA constitution a new AGM has been called.
As required an AGM has been set 35 days or more from this announcement, Tuesday 21st May at 6.30pm.
As a result nominations for elected positions have been reopened.
Nominations for President and the 2 vacant Director roles must be received on the correct forms. Those candidates who have previously nominated for positions on the BOM will not have to resubmit their nominations.
Nominations must be received into the CHBA office by COB, Friday 26th April - 25 days prior to the AGM.
The AGM Agenda, including tabled reports and persons nominating for positions will be released via our website and Facebook page 21 days prior to the AGM - Tuesday 30/04/2019.
BNSW have been advised of the administration error and have endorsed the revised schedule and plan.
Significant progress and innovative programs are underway in our association and CHBA urges all persons who wish to positively assist the BOM to foster and develop the growth of basketball in the Coffs Harbour region to consider applying for the vacant roles on the BOM.
