Sponsorship packages for junior representative teams
CHBA now have 3 sponsorship options for junior players to take to businesses to assist with cutting their costs for the representative season. If you would like to get the sponsorship package, please download the document below.
However, with everything, there are always questions and rumours going around about how much money the association are trying to make from our members.
Most importantly, the sponsorship packages are organised to benefit the children and their families. CHBA will make no money from these packages. In fact, the workload will now increase to administer this program.
The process will be teams and individuals go and seek their sponsors after they check for approval from the CHBA office.
- Your sponsor will either give you a cheque or directly deposit into the chba bank account
- CHBA will keep the GST as we have to pay this money to the ATO, then pay for the framed photos and warm up shirt logos
- The ENTIRE remaining balance of the money will be put onto a prepaid visa card, handed to the team manager to use for their teams upfront costs, accommodation, travel or training fees. If there is money left over at the end of the season, the manager will distribute this evenly to the kids.
NONE of this money will go to the association. The purpose of the Junior rep sponsorship packages are to offset YOUR team costs. CHBA do not have any costs in regards to the rep program, as it is a user pay program. At no time will this benefit CHBA or pay for administration costs. The CHBA rep program doesn’t contribute to the administration costs of CHBA staff in any way, even though many, many hours of administration time are spent on this program.
