The Ballarat Football & Netball League offers this rare and exciting opportunity to appoint 3 highly motivated, enthusiastic and suitably qualified individuals to assist with the administration of football and netball for the Leagues & Clubs under the Ballarat FNL “Hub”.
1) Media, Marketing & Events Manager
- In conjunction with the Regional General Manager, this person will be responsible for the recruitment, management and administration of all sponsorship and partnership programs for the leagues within the Ballarat “Hub”
- Oversee and manage all Commercial and key stakeholder Agreements & promotions
- Oversee the Ballarat FL “Shop” – FootyMart Ballarat
- Oversee Communications & Media – including Social Media
- Maintain and further develop each league’s Website, including the creation of “chat Forums” – and moderate such forums
- Manager major events and Functions for the leagues
- Oversee and manage Publications (e.g Footy Records & Annual Reports)
2) NETBALL Manager
- Work closely and under the guidance of the Netball President & Executive of each league to manage the operations of all Junior (Under Age) and Senior (incorporating A, B and C Grade) Netball competitions for all leagues according to league By Laws and Netball Victoria regulations.
- Coordinate and oversee the relevant Umpire Accreditation and appointments
- Plan and implement meetings of secretaries, team managers, umpires and coaches
- Ensure all Netball Victoria registrations are processed accordingly
- Call, prepare for and conduct Netball Club Presidents’ Meetings throughout the year for each league and produce minutes of these meetings
- Management of the Netball Victoria Competition Management System for each, including the maintenance of the netball database of player details
- Oversee all Interleague and development programs, including Regional State league representative sides
- Further growth and development of the competitions, including the RDFL Junior Netball competition
3) RDFL ADMINISTRATION TRAINEE / Assistant
Note: This position is based AT RDFL Headquarters in Sunbury.
The Ballarat FNL is also pleased offer a Traineeship (via AFL Sportsready).
This new position is a full time position based at the Riddell District FL in Sunbury to work for the Riddell District FL in conjunction with the Regional General Manager, the RDFL Operations Manager and the Riddell District FL Board to assist with the administration of football / netball within the Riddell District FL.
