Melton Centrals have made a statement of intent in the Riddell District Netball League by beating the previously undefeated Rupertswood on Saturday.
Playing at home, Centrals started slowly but once they got going proved unstoppable on the way to a shock 36-28 win.
The Sharks led at quarter-time by three goals, but it all went wrong from there as the Centrals opened up a nine-goal lead with a quarter to go.
Centrals held their nerve in the last quarter to seal their best win of the season.
For a second straight week, Rebecca Morabito was judged best on court. Playing goal attack, she shot a modest 10 goals but her passing and movement at the attacking end helped set up the win.
