AFL Goldfields is delighted to announce the employment of Grace Bibby as our new Administration and Netball Operations Manager.
Grace takes over from Rhiannon Banner who has relocated to Alice Springs to further enhance her career aspirations in netball administration.
Grace joins us after spending more than three years as a journalist with Fairfax Media at the Stawell Times-News, Wimmera Mail Times and Ararat Advertiser.
During her time as a journalist, Grace has covered football, netball and other sports in the community. She also embraced the challenge of writing news.
Grace thrives of reaching new heights through digital elements and expectations. She is determined to take the next step in her sporting career and challenge herself with great opportunities.
Grace has played representative netball and basketball for Ballarat and has spent several seasons as basketball coach for the Stawell Wildcats at Senior and junior level.
Grace has previously studied Media and Communications at Deakin University in Geelong.
"We are thrilled to have someone join the team who has such great drive and determination to succeed in their role, and she will be an ideal fit for the growth of netball at AFL Goldfields," AFL Goldfields Regional General Manager Rod Ward said.
Grace will spend most of her time at Saxon House, Ballarat. She commences with AFL Goldfields on Tuesday, March 14 2017.
