McGregor and a handful of new players from the Hume Thunder netball team are jelling quickly with a core of Riddell players.
The coach originally played in the Riddell league at Wallan before taking two seasons off and returning to the court at goal shooter for the Bombers.
Other new faces in Riddell colours include goal defence Rehanna Razeen and mid-courter Emma Anderson.
"We're fortunate enough to have three well-balanced sides from the A's to C's," McGregor said.
"The girls have done solid groundwork in pre-season and with their effort each week at training, we're coming together with the football club and one thing I've noticed is how supportive the club is.
"Having players who haven't played together leaves a lot to work on ... for the first three games I think the girls have come together well."
McGregor said her team started slowly against Sunbury Kangaroos on Saturday before edging away in the second quarter.
"Credit to Sunbury, they played a very competitive game. Tammy Hardwick (GK) came back and didn't miss a beat. She really stepped it up and created a lot of turnovers.
"Tayla Quigley was very good in mid-court and (the goalers) were pretty consistent."
Broadford is the only other team to have three wins from three games, while Melton Central and Macedon also have 12 premiership points with two wins and the four points from the bye against Lancefield.
