The venue has been remodelled in the last year, with the cricket wicket moved to the adjoining oval and grass seedlings from the pristine Cazalys turf planted.
It has taken much longer to grow than expected and forced their first home game this weekend to be shifter to Cazalys. The Bulldogs have been training at Cazalys but are back at Trinity Beach tonight with the grass all bu grown back.
"Hopefully itll be right for next weekend",Centrals President John Burrell said. "This weekends game is just a swap so we havent lost any gate takings and I think playing ANZAC Day at Cazalys is a good outcome for both clubs."
The table topping Bulldogs, who knocked off defending premiers Port Douglas last weekend, will play Cairns City Lions at 3pm.
