NQ will be made up of players from AFL Cairns, AFL Townsville, AFL Mackay, AFL Mt Isa and AFL Capricornia.
Training for the All Stars v Indigenous/South Pacific match will be short and sharp as all players are already training regularly at their AFL Cairns Club. The training schedule will be:
- Wednesday, 6th May 2015
- Cairns All Stars: Crathern Park; 6:00 -7:30pm.
- Indigenous/South Pacific All Stars: Holloways Beach Sporting Complex; 6:00 -7:15pm
- Monday 11th May 2015 @ Cazalys Stadium; 6:00 -7:30pm
- Both Sides.
All Players selected in Match won’t train with their Clubs on Tuesday.
Players selected in the squad are also advised of AFL Cairns Rules and Regulations in regards to Representative Football. Any player selected in the AFL Cairns Representative squad/s must attend training and make themselves available to play (subject to selection in final team) unless a Doctors Certificate is provided in relation to an injury or injuries not physically allowing the player to participate in the program. Failure to participate and produce a Doctors Certificate will result in the player being suspended for their Clubs first match immediately after the Representative match. This suspension also makes the player ineligible for AFL Cairns best & fairest awards.
AFL Cairns has the discretion to add more players to the squad as they see fit.
