The Roar arrive in Cairns on Wednesday, 9 December, at 3.55pm to play the first Hyundai A-League fixture staged in the city.
They will do a public meet-and-greet session on Wednesday, from 6pm, at Endeavour Park, Manunda.
Thursday is a busy program of activities. There are several player appearances and fun activities throughout Thursday afternoon. These include:
2pm-5pm: Join Roar players for a kick around in the Rebel Roar Zone inflatable fields on the Esplanade. They will also be signing autographs and posing for photos (Cairns Esplanade).
4pm-5pm: Meet Roar players at Telstra store (Cairns Central Shopping Centre).
4pm-5pm: Autograph signing and photos with players at Rebel Sports store (Showgrounds Shopping Centre)
6.30pm-10pm: Official Tour Dinner (Hilton Hotel)
The Roar and Wellington Phoenix will train at Cazalys Stadium on Friday, 11 December.
Brisbane will train from 7.30am to 10am. This training session is open to the public and players will sign autographs afterwards. Wellington Phoenix training sessions are closed to the public.
On Saturday, gates open at Cazalys Stadium at 3pm. Kick off is 4.15pm.

Cazalys Stadium Conditions of Entry & Prohibited Items:
- Cazalys Stadium and AFL Cairns management reserves the right to refuse entry.
- Patrons are admitted to the stadium at their own risk.
- Patrons may be requested to present bags for inspection.
- Persons entering the arena without prior authorisation will be liable for prosecution.
- Cazalys Stadium and AFL Cairns will not be held responsible for any damages to, loss or theft of a patron's personal property.
- Seats retract automatically; check your seat before you sit down.
- Alcoholic beverages may not be taken into or from Cazalys Stadium.
- Cazalys Stadium is a non-smoking venue.
- Patrons causing a disturbance or refusing to comply with requests from Cazalys Stadium or AFL Cairns staff or their representatives may be evicted from the stadium.
- A large proportion of Cazalys Stadium is exposed to direct sunlight and heat. Patrons are required to take appropriate care for their sun protection and hydration.

For the comfort, safety and enjoyment of all patrons, staff and event participants, the following items are not permitted into Cazalys Stadium for the A-League match:
- Alcohol;
- Opened soft drink or water containers;
- Cans / glass;
- Torn-up paper;
- Musical instruments;
- Whistles;
- Folding chairs
- Recreational equipment, including skateboards, rollerblades and bicycles
- National flags, other than Australian or New Zealand national flags
- Fireworks / flares / laser lights;
- Rollerblades, skateboards, scooters, bicycles;
- Animals (guide and hearing animals may enter);
- Folding chairs;
- Any large article that cannot be placed under a seat;
- Any device or item that in the opinion of Cazalys Stadium or AFL Cairns management has the

Can I bring my own seating into Cazalys Stadium? Picnic rugs are permitted. Folding chairs are not permitted.
Can I bring a bag into Cazalys Stadium? Yes. However, bag searches will take place at the gates, which will slow your entry as there is generally queuing for bag checks. We encourage all patrons not to bring bags to Cazalys Stadium unless essential.
Is there cloaking available at Cazalys Stadium? No. There are no cloaking facilities at Cazalys Stadium.
Can I bring food and drink into Cazalys Stadium? Yes. Water and non-alcoholic beverages in plastic or cardboard packaging which have not been opened can be brought into Cazalys Stadium. Food items which are homemade such as sandwiches, biscuits and cakes, provided they are packaged in plastic, non-dangerous packaging, can be brought into Cazalys Stadium. Drinks and food can only be brought into Cazalys Stadium in soft cooler bags. Esky’s of any size are not permitted.
Can I bring alcohol into Cazalys Stadium? No. Fines apply to patrons caught trying to ‘smuggle’ alcohol into Cazalys Stadium.
Can I bring an umbrella into Cazalys Stadium? Yes. Umbrellas are permitted but please respect other patrons around you.
Can I take photos at the match? Yes. Personal cameras are permitted, with any photos or recordings taken only for personal use.
Can I buy food at Cazalys Stadium? Yes. Food will be available from canteens around the stadium.
Can I buy alcoholic beverages at Cazalys Stadium? Yes. Cazalys Stadium is a licensed venue. Alcoholic beverages must not be taken into or out of Cazalys Stadium. It is an offence for minors to purchase or consume alcohol or for persons to supply alcohol to minors. Alcohol may not be consumed in the DRY AREAS of Cazalys Stadium. Excessive consumption of alcohol will not be tolerated and intoxicated and disorderly patrons will be refused entry and/or further service and/or asked to leave the venue.
Can I smoke at Cazalys Stadium? No. Cazalys Stadium is a non-smoking venue. These will be smoking areas available at both gates and an additional smoking area behind the Cazalys Grandstand. Please follow the signs to the appropriate smoking areas.
Can I get a pass-out to leave Cazalys Stadium and return at a later time during the match? Yes. Pass-outs will be issued. Please have your barcoded ticket ready to present to the gate attendant to scan you out and back in on your return.
Will there be transport available to and from Cazalys Stadium? Yes. There will be buses departing from Lake Street Bus Terminal from 2:45pm until 4:00pm to bring patrons (express) to Cazalys Stadium before the match. At the conclusion of the match buses will depart Cazalys Stadium (Tills Street Gate) and run express to the Lake Street Bus Terminal.
Getting to and from Cazalys Stadium
There is NO PUBLIC PARKING within the Cazalys Stadium precinct and there is very limited parking available within close proximity to Cazalys Stadium. Therefore, patrons attending the Hyundai A-League Match between Brisbane Roar and Wellington Phoenix are advised to park in the Cairns CBD area and take the FREE Shuttle Bus service from the Lake Street Bus Terminal to Cazalys Stadium. The FREE Shuttle Bus Service will operate from 2:45pm until the commencement of the match and again at the conclusion of the match until 7:00pm.
At the conclusion of the match, Taxi’s will be available from the Tills Street and Cazalys Social Club taxi ranks.
Patrons are advised Tills Street will be closed between Earl and Mann Streets from 2:30pm to 7:30pm. No parking is permitted in this area. Parking Officers will be in attendance to issue infringement notices.
Please respect business and residents living close to the Stadium and obey traffic signs at all times.
