State Youth Championship Men’s Head Coach Trevor Lee, has indicated he is heading outside the club to further his career as a Head Coach and will seek an opportunity to be the Head Coach a Senior Championship Men’s team for season 2014.

“Trevor’s success at DiamondValley is unparalleled and his desire to continue to build on his career as a Head Coach in the Senior Championship competition is a natural progression. He has built a program at DiamondValley that has had 5 years of sustained success and has worked hand in hand with the development of the junior players at DiamondValley along with the coaches at the club.

I know Trevor will do a great job at his next appointment, it is part of a coaches development to leave home and make his mark in the coaching ranks at a higher level, I have no doubt Trevor will come back to Diamond Valley one day and Head Coach the club, he is well respected by the club, committee and all at Diamond Valley. I know it was an extremely hard decision for Trevor to make but one that has the blessing of the club, we wish him the very best“– Alan McAughtry.

It is a great sign when one of your coaches is respected highly enough to lead our State and Trevor has earned the opportunity to Head Coach Victoria at next year’s National Championships.
