Girls Buddy Program
On Sunday 27thAugust the girls from the Diamond Valley Basketball Buddy Program got together for their first session. There were bonding games and opportunities to get to know each other. All of the girls participated and had a great time.
After the fun, the older mentors sat with their buddies, swapped contact details, and discussed what they can expect with the upcoming trial process and how to get the best out of themselves. The group also came up with some amazing ideas for a community outreach project that they will be implementing.
The Buddy Program will meet again in September so stay tuned. These girls are doing something great!
