Harrower Leaves The Nest To Spread Her Wings

Kristi Harrower has accepted the Head Coach position of the Melbourne Tigers NBL1 Women’s team after Head Coach Mark Wright resigned at the start of the week.

Harrower who was the Eagles NBL1 Assistant said “It all happened really quickly, I’m excited for the challenge” “It’s always nice to be asked and it’s a little special given its my junior club” When asked was it difficult to make the call “No not really, Jono and the club have been really supportive, Diamond Valley have been a great club and I thank them for giving me the opportunity to being involved and there understanding”.

Jonathan Goodman, Head Coach of the Womens Eagles said “I’m really happy for her, she was an amazing player and now she will make a great Head Coach”

Harrower will coach the last 10 games of the season for the Tigers, hoping to get the current 10th placed team into the top 8 for finals in the inaugural NBL1 Season.The club would like to thank Kristi for her time and wish her all the best for her upcoming role.
